FN has a bunch of shows where specialized chefs travel the USA looking for the best foods. Our favorite, Diners. Drive-ins, and Dives, features little hole in the wall places that you wouldn't find unless someone told you about it. What I am trying to say is, this week was a fat week.
A delicious, delicious fat week.
Other things that happened:
1. Breck and I got in our very first fight! Of course, it was after a game night (see here). It was very, very funny and we celebrated afterwards with pizza and decided that we much prefer being best friends. Is this TMI? I don't know, I feel like we graduated from something.
2. We went thrift shopping! We found:
a) A game of Trivial Pursuit. We have decided to dedicate a few minutes every day to memorize cards so we can be the be the greatest team of all eternity. Surrender now or prepare to fight!
(If you don't get that reference, know with with certainty that you are exponentially cooler than I am.)
b) The Dave Ramsey financial planner pack (valued at $70 bought for $3) so hopefully we can stop spending all our money on food and thrift shopping. (Great accidental product placement.)
c) LSAT study books! Long story short, there is this kid I know that never ceases to brag about how he is in law school. Exact quote, "Sorry to the non-law schoolites, some of the references may be over your head." It bugs me. So I've decided to pull a Legally Blonde.
3. After ten years of my older brother encouraging me to read it, I finished Dune! It's supposed to be the sci-fi book of the century. I was underwhelmed. BUT, right now I'm reading The Count of Monte Cristo and it is the bee's knees! A total BFBWTE. Big Fat Book worth the effort. Yes I made that up right now.

Too funny about finding Trivial Pursuit. Which version did you get? Next game night you'll have to bring it so we can see who's really been studying!
